Ok, it made me feel better that his friends were starring as dirt mites, cockroaches, and head lice. The "bug" performance was the grand finale to his second grade insect unit. They made masks out of model magic, dyed their own shirts, and did research and wrote a poem about their particular insect.

Brotherly Love
I love to watch how Sarah reacts to her brothers. It makes me happy to see their developing relationships. They love each other more and more every day. Sarah trusts Tyler. She is satisfied and happy in his arms. She's always got a simple, easy smile for Carter. As for Jordan, well, I think Sarah loves Jordan like you love a ride on a theme park's biggest roller coaster! Here's one of Sarah and Jordan's more peaceful moments.........

Crockey
This is Crockey--Jordan's hard, plastic crocodile. He also has two soft, plush stuffies--a black lab Webkinz and a little gorilla. Crockey, however, is Jordan's mainstay at bedtime. I don't know why he likes to sleep with Crockey so much. What I do know is that it totally freaks me out when I go to check on him at night! One good thing about Crockey, though, is that he's really hard to lose.

Happy Memorial Day!
Ty's Tie Tying
Sunday morning. Dad's on call. Mom still hasn't learned the art of the tie knot. Usually we just ask someone at church to help out but Tyler said he didn't want that. He disappeared while I was getting the other kids ready for church and when he reappeared upstairs his tie was tied perfectly.
Wow. Computer stuff I just couldn't even imagine doing when I was 7 years old. I'll just accept my age and realize that my cassette mix tapes are no longer keepsakes or antiques. They are artifacts. Anyway, I'm proud of Tyler and his resourcefulness.
"Tyler, who did that for you?"
"Mom, I googled it."
"You googled it?"
"Yeah, I googled How to Tie a Tie and it worked."

Happy Birthday, Jordan!
Romeo, Oh Romeo......
Where does the time go?
Why do babies grow up so fast? I just saw this picture and I can't believe Sarah is already 5 months old. The best part, though, is that Tyler, Jordan, and Carter still can't get enough of their baby sister. They take such good care of her. I just love the ages of our kids. We wish we could freeze frame our family right now.
