Big Helper

I've always heard people say it gets easier when "the older ones get old enough to help with the younger ones". I can't believe how true it is! Tyler is such an amazing helper when it comes to taking care of Sarah. He puts her to sleep for every nap and sometimes for her bedtime. If we're out at any kind of activity he's still able to do it! Last week, I even had him take her out and put her to sleep during a church meeting. I appreciate Tyler so much! I think he has a special talent for calming Sarah and I think there's a little chemistry there, too. He's so good at it that the other night (around 2:00 a.m.-ish) I actually thought about waking him up for a little help in getting Sarah to go back to sleep. I can't believe I thought about waking up my 8 year old to take care of my baby!

I am with you, I hope when it's that way for me when it's time for us to have another one.

That is amazing! My boys help, but the getting Sarah to sleep part would never happen around here. GO Tyler!

What a sweet boy you have. I need one like him during church...wouldn't that be nice.

Tyler, I am so proud of you. Your mom needs help and you are great. Make sure you keep that picture and show it to Sarah when she is older and she thinks her big brother is being to tough on her.

oh that is adorable! It's true, finally those little stinkers are getting to be so big and very helpful. The other day Taylor was determined to potty train Brody for me - I said BE MY GUEST GIRLFRIEND! An hour later, she gave up. Shucks!

What a great helper! It sure makes things easier when you know there are extra hands to help out even when dad isn't home!
